Dear Cowgirl,

I hope you look back at the old versions of yourself with kindness, rather than disgust.

I hope you stop at least once a day to feel gratitude for your blessings, while remaining aware of where you can grow.

I hope you remember you are who God says you are, not what other people see.

I hope you never forget that although there are tough days, hard seasons and pitfalls—these are still the “good ol’ days.”

I hope you have hope.

I hope you have joy.

I hope you never quit trying, because you’re worth fighting for. Did you hear me? You are worth fighting for.
